Childcare Costs and Funding

Registration Fee:

The registration fee for a Nursery space is £50 plus a £100 deposit to secure the place if required more than two months in advance. The £100 will be deducted from your first invoice. These charges are non-refundable if you decide you no longer require the place. We require four weeks notice to withdraw your nursery place.

Full week £250.50 (Monday to Friday)
Full day £55.00 (8.00am- 6.00pm)
AM £33.00 (8.00am-1.00pm)
PM £33.00 (1.00pm- 6.00pm)

A full day includes breakfast, lunch and tea. A morning includes breakfast and lunch. Afternoon sessions include tea.

As part of the registration process, you and your child will be invited to attend settling in sessions for which there is no charge.

When more than one child attends from the same family, a 10% discount will apply to the other child.

The Nursery closes during the Christmas Holiday period and you will not be charged during this time. We also close for an annual training day, which you will not be charged for.

Government Funding

Radmoor Day Nursery is registered to claim government funding for two, three and four year olds.

Funded only sessions

Funded only sessions can be flexible in order to support your childcare needs. These sessions are limited and offered on a termly basis. Please discuss with the nursery manager your requirements as these sessions can be flexible within the structure of the nursery day.

All 3/4 year old children are entitled to 15 hours funding a week for 38 weeks of the year. The additional 15 hours (30 hours funding) is applied for every three months by the parents.

Retainer for term time only users:

Our school term time is 38 weeks and follows Leicestershire County Council school term time and where children are booked in for term time only sessions a retainer will be required for the remaining weeks. The charge will be 50% of your weekly rate. Fees are reviewed annually.

Bank Holidays:

All year round attendees – We do not charge for Bank Holidays except over the Christmas/New Year Nursery closure period.

Payments

On registering your child, a Direct Debit can be set up unless you’re paying by standing order or workplace vouchers. Cash or card payments can be accepted in the nursery office. Payments must be paid in advance at the beginning of each month, reaching our account no later than the 5th.

We accept Workplace Vouchers/Standing Orders/Internet payments/DD/Cash/Card.
